世台烏干達與舊鞋救命合作，捐贈鞋子和衣物給受到沙蚤影響的人們。此外，也和Arise合作，培訓年輕媽媽及失學女孩製作紙袋來增加家庭收入，不僅提供紙袋材料，也建立了營銷管道。東非中心在烏干達深耕，為了讓孩子有尊嚴地上學，從去年開始籌備捐鞋計畫，第一批抵達Iganga Nathoo Center非營利學校，第二批捐贈Kitgum Namokora 社群學校。還有更多捐贈行動將在不久的將來與各位分享！

世台 East Africa Center worked with Step 30 and donated shoes and clothes to those who were affected by the jigger epidemic. In addition, 世台 East Africa Center is sponsoring a paper bag project to help youths generate income to support their families.  Paper bag materials are provided, and sales distribution channels are established. To address the issue of equality among children at school, 世台 East Africa Center initiated the “School Shoes Project.” Our first donation was sent to the Iganga Nathoo Center, a non-profit preschool, and the second was sent to the Kitgum Namokora Community School. More donations will be announced soon!

世台東非中心至今贊助了4位工程科學生、2位農學家、以及16醫生進行培訓, 及28位孤兒的教育費用，還協助Makerere 大學與亞太地區的大學進行學術交流，並且捐贈摩托車給Makerere大學法律事務部門，協助其交通與運輸所需。2017年，第二十九屆夏季世界大學運動會於台灣舉行，烏干達代表隊面臨經費短缺以及其他困境，世台東非中心贊助代表隊的部分交通費用和旅費開銷。世台東非中心在Kampala和Kitgum舉辦初階電腦工作坊，教授標準英語輸入法以及文書軟體使用，讓許多沒有機會學電腦的烏干達青年具有文書工作的基礎。未來世台東非中心將持續與華碩基金會合作，擴大東非青年培力計畫的資訊力

世界台灣商會聯合總會 (WTCC) 與世台聯合基金會合作統籌非洲糧米捐贈計劃，於2019年一月將台灣外交部與農糧署所提供的120 公噸糧米，其中80公噸捐贈至史瓦帝尼，40公噸捐贈至南非。海運費用以及米袋印製費用由世台承擔，並由非洲總會台灣商會聯合總會 (ATCC) 承擔內陸運輸費用，糧米的實際發放，則由天主教國際明愛會等當地慈善機構協助進行，確認所贈送糧米確實幫助到需要的社區和人們。2018年Bududa發生嚴重山崩滑坡，在總理的指示下，世台東非中心提供災難救助，捐贈衣物和家用品到難民與救災部門。

世台東非中心與還有我協會合作，自2018年起在南蘇丹及烏干達資助婦女縫紉工作坊，捐贈15台腳踏縫紉機，提供經濟有困難的單親媽媽、因戰爭沒有機會受教育的女性及難民訓練和工作機會，因為只有穩定的收入才能確保他們和孩子的未來。目前已經有許多受訓過的婦女能夠接受親朋好友及鄰居的訂製請求，成為獨立的裁縫師，也有些表現優異的媽媽們加入了東非中心的團隊，朝向資深裁縫甚至設計師的方向努力！

世台於2017年贊助台灣卡羅歐巴尼協會所推動的醫療實習計畫，由二位傑出的醫生到非洲坦尚尼亞的公共衛生實驗室，研習熱帶疾病的新診斷技術，藉由與世界各國的專家互動交流，學習目前世界衛生組織 (WHO) 與國際間的寄生蟲學研究與新興診斷技術，讓亞太地區在這個領域的診斷與醫療能力與世界並駕齊驅。2018年三月，世台烏干達與台灣路竹會合作，提供Masaka和Garugga地區居民免費義診服務，嘉惠三千人以上。烏干達副總統走訪義診現場，並邀請義診團到其辦公室，以表示感謝。2019年四月，世台烏干達安排台灣企業Ginkgomed 捐贈醫療器材和用品給Masaka地區醫院。

世台聯合基金會、世台烏干達與Cherish Uganda合作，並由世台聯合基金會提供部分經費，在維多利亞湖附近的Wakiso地區建立希望診所。該診所於2016年底開始營運，為附近五千位居民提供醫療服務，特別是婦女、兒童、耆老、以及愛滋病患者。這項計畫以台灣商會為主題，結合全世界各地的台商會員共同推動公益，豎立了世台基金會志業模式的成功典範。

世台partnered with Cherish Uganda and built the Hope Clinic in Wakiso district near Lake Victoria, with major funding support from 世台.  The hospital started operating at the end of 2016 and provides medical services to the local community of 5000 people, especially women, children, seniors, and HIV patients. This project brings together members of the World Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce to provide

烏干達是全世界GDP per Capita最低的區域之一，北部地區接壤南蘇丹，主要的居民都是農民，直到2000年都還受戰火波及，經濟發展遲緩，基礎建設也極度匱乏，沒有柏油路、沒有自來水，基礎教育環境及待改善。位於烏干達北部的佩拉村以及鄰近村落毫無基礎建設，也都缺乏永續性的水資源。2020年的東非水資源計畫將經營永續水資源，提升地方公衛條件，降低疾病發生機率，增近居民總體健康，為至少1000戶經濟弱勢居民提供永續的可用水，使1000名以上年輕女性及孩童免於在長途跋涉取水途中遭受性侵及人口販運的恐懼；另籌備社區發展中心，提供至少500名青年及學生資訊教育及職業訓練的機會。

Now 世台has identified a place of urgent need: East Africa. We plan to construct a borehole with a motorized distribution system that will make the water available for three communities, leading to improved health and sanitation, which are critical to combating diseases. This project will provide reliable access to a new water resource for at least 1,000 households. Most importantly, this project should be able to lower the risk of sexual violence along the water-fetching journey
